A few days back I have closed my Friendster account because I no longer see any use for it. I really find it hard to understand why people treat Friendster as a popularity contest? Adding members for the sake of increasing the amount of friends?! Can they actually say that everyone in their Friendster are their real friends? I saw and experienced how missuse of friendster complicate or destroy relationships.
